It was in 6th Pacific Meridian International Film Festival held in Vladivostok, Russia from Sept. 13 to 19. Movie Director Brillante Mendoza was named Best Director and lead star Gina Pareño, Best Actress.
Take note though that the movie was rated “X” by the MTRCB and had also received bad critics from Cannes International Film Festival.
Both awards come with a monetary price. Not bad for Ms. Gina Pareño, she really deserves it. Same with Director Brillante Mendoza.
